It’s Official! We are having a baby!!!
Today, after 12 full weeks, we were able to hear our baby’s heartbeat.
It has been by far the most exciting sound I have ever heard in my entire life.
We are in the process of letting our friends and family (oh yeah! and whoever reads this). Our parents already knew… but you know how this goes. =)
So… that’s that for news!!! =)
I don’t have anything else to say… we are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!
PS. Everyone thought we’d be smart enough to bring a tape recorder, and we didn’t! Duh!! However, we heard that you can rent those ‘doppler’ mikes… sooo… if any of you know where, or how to get one… please please please let me know!!!

Wow! Congratulations! That is so exciting.
No offense to your baby whatsoever, but I find the sound of heartbeats a little creepy. I think it might have been that dramatic interpretation of “The Telltale Heart” I saw in sixth grade that ruined it.

No problem! Hey, I guess it is perceived in a different way when you realize what it means… I am amazed that the sound we heard keeps a human being alive, and that such little human has a little part of me, and a little part of Trace… and still is a unique being on it’s own. =)
